Tanner is a blind retriever who until now had a bleak future. Born without the ability to see and suffering from life debilitating seizures that caused him to lose control of his bodily functions. His owner died in 2010, leaving him alone. After a series of temporary homes Tanner ended up in an animal rescue shelter. He was then hospitalised in an attempt to control his seizures - the future was looking grim and it looked like Tanner would be euthanased.
