Its that time of year when we get ready for another exciting year of Crufts, at Birmingham’s NEC!
Last year celebrated the 125th anniversary of Crufts and it is still going as strong today as it did when Charles Cruft, the founder, organised its first event in 1891. The event has outgrown several venues over the years. From the Agricultural Hall, to Olympia, to Earls Court and now finally Birmingham’s NEC where it can accommodate the huge rise in popularity Crufts has seen over the years.
From the 9th-12th March Crufts will be aired on Channel 4 each afternoon and evening. We have listed the itinerary for you below.
Thursday 9th March: Terrier & Hound categories
Friday 10th March: Toy& Utility categories
Saturday 11th March: Gundog category
Sunday 12th March: Woking & Pastoral categories and the Best in Show
It is estimated that approximately 23,000 dogs will compete in this years event, with breeders, owners and their canine companions travelling from all over the world!
Last year saw ‘Devon’ a West Highland White Terrier pick up the prestigious award.
Who do you think will be this years Best in Show?
