TV Vet Paul Manktelow

Paul Manktelow TV VetHere’s Paul!  As well as being our resident vet here at Vital Pet Health and Principal Vet at PDSA, he also regularly appears on our TV screens on a number of prime time programmes.

Paul has a wealth of both surgical, medical and pet health experience and leads our expert team here at Vital Pet Health.

Paul graduated in 2002 from the University of Glasgow Veterinary School. He’s now based in London but his veterinary career has taken him far and wide.  After graduating from the University of Glasgow Veterinary School in 2002 Paul went on to complete a Masters Degree in Wild Animal Health at the Zoological Society of London. He loves to travel and his work has taken him to South Africa doing wildlife game capture and an internship project studying primates at Jersey Zoo.

His extensive small animal experience comes from his work at the UK’s leading veterinary charity the PDSA (Peoples Dispensary for Sick Animals) where he has worked for a number of years. He now holds the position of Principal of Regional Veterinary Services and oversees 17 hospitals throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

He’s a busy chap!  But he still finds to the time to appear on our  TV screens as a veterinary presenter. His work includes:
