Vet Paul Manktelow announced in Crufts 2020 line up!

Crufts, organised by The Kennel Club, is without doubt the BIGGEST dog show in the world. With a staggering 28,000 dogs taking part this year it celebrates every aspect of the wonderful role dogs play in our lives.

From its home at the NEC Birmingham, Crufts will be running from the 5th-8th March and will see over 160,000 visitors pass through it’s doors! Paul who is Principal Vet at PDSA, the UK’s leading veterinary charity, will be joining the Crufts team as their veterinary presenter offering his expertise on dog health and welfare during the live broadcasts across the four days of Crufts.  Viewers may recognise Paul from his previous appearances on shows such as Animal Madhouse, Junior Vets and This Morning.

We caught up with Paul ahead of the show:

“I’m so excited and thrilled to be a part of Crufts 2020. When I was asked to join the team I was like ‘Do I want to spend 4 days being surrounded by thousands of dogs?  Erm.. Yes!’ This is my absolute definition of a dream job.”

“We’ve got some great themes on this year’s show which really explore the special relationship we have with these amazing animals.  Viewers will also get to see some exclusive footage of the great work of the vets and nurses at PDSA when Radzi joins me on a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of one of our busy Pet Hospitals”

You can watch Crufts on Channel 4 and More4 at various screen times between 3pm-9pm on Thursday 5th March through to Sunday 8th March.
